Young goalkeeper, Luke Davis, has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Broomfield FC.

In his first full season at the club, Davis was a virtual ever-present in the side, amassing an unsurpassed 24 appearances throughout 2009/10. This reliability not only confirmed his commitment to the cause, but was also a result of a superb level of performance throughout the season, culminating in him scooping the team-s player of the season award at only 16 years old.

His command of his area belies his tender years and his rock solid displays have not gone unnoticed, with the youngster being called up by the senior side at the start of the 2010/11 season for his first-team debut.

Excellent reflexes, combined with fantastic agility and ever-improving decision-making all suggest that Davis has a very bright future ahead of him with the club.
